Had a very nice program with students at Roots Junior School in town, pic. attached. This age group is a lot of fun.

We did some experiments in nonviolent behavior, some of Jim’s games, and I spoke to them about the “Focus on Peace” contest and a making a place for peace in their lives.

They shared with me some of the things that they did on Earth Day and proudly showed me some of the peace art they have made.

A beautiful gift of student artwork was given to me that will look wonderful in the museum.

Then we went to a car repair business so I could speak with the employees about the peace museum and my visit to Pakistan.
The business belongs to the chairman of ILAP, and profits are used to help fund the organization’s operations.
As the men all stood around me, twenty or so, their faces clearly expressed their discontent for the US when I was being introduced, but frowns turned to smiles once they saw my t-shirt under my coat and Sadi's  poem about humanity on the back.

As I spoke about people in the States that cared about peace, and how we are all mislead about each other because of the media, heads nodded in affirmation. After, several of us had tea and a snack together and our words were of peace, friendship and goodwill.
