Our volunteers are the heart and soul of the Museum. We come together from all faiths and backgrounds around our shared vision of a peaceful world and a peaceful community.

Governor Strickland greets Ralph at the Future Energy and Conservation Center, the Peace Museum's environmental branch. Located on the homestead farm of Museum founders Chris and Ralph Dull, many of Ohio's top elected officials have paid a visit.

The Dayton Peace Museum is committed to helping young people create a better future for their community. Youth lead forums on tolerance, diversity, and violence in Dayton.

The Dayton International Peace Museum celebrates the 1994 Dayton Peace Accords that ended the war in Bosnia, and represents Dayton as a city of peace all around the world.

  • Screen Peace Film Festival at the Neon and Little Arts, Six Sundays from early October to mid-November.
  • For Pete’s Sake, Sing! On May 3rd, over 400 Daytonians celebrated the 90th birthday of folk singing legend and peace advocate Pete Seeger at the UD Kennedy Union Ballroom.
  • Dayton Peace Accords 5K Run/Walk along the River, every April. A healthy way to celebrate peace!
  • TrolleyStock. 10 Hours of Peace & Music at the Trolley Stop—following in the historic footsteps of the Woodstock organizers 40 years ago, Dayton just had the first annual TrolleyStock event on August 9th. It was very successful, and the Trolley Stop plans to make this DIPM benefit an annual event.
  • Dayton Peace Festival 3rd weekend in September. This all-day, family-friendly event will soon be gearing up for its fourth year. Come and celebrate peace in our city and across the globe with live music, dance, theatre, and peace games and crafts for children.
