Peace Museum Resource Center Searchable Listings
The Library of the Dayton International Peace Museum is small but growing quickly. At the moment it consists of donated books and videos that relate to the mission of the museum. Our largest donation of books came from Charles Chatfield, the noted author and scholar in the field of peace history.
Currently, there are close to 1,200 books and more than 100 videos and DVDs. Subject areas most represented in the library include but are not limited to ethics, history, religion, war, peace, environment and globalization. Other major topics include international policies analysis, peace and peace education, and the Middle East .
The library is comfortable and inviting for those who might want to browse and materials are available for checkout. We have volunteers who are eager to help with any research question. We especially welcome questions from students, so please feel free to call or email your questions to the Peace Museum.
The following data includes complete files of important books, treaties and other documents pertaining to peace issues. Most of the documents are in Adobe Acrobat format.
